Baci Amore almost gave Yarraman Park the ultimate result on with the Exceed and Excel colt 2nd to Rockdale in the Group 1 TJ Smith on Monday.

Blue Sky Thoroughbreds purchased Baci Amore's Dam Coverage for $85,000 privately for Yarraman Park in foal to Emirates Park stallion Al Maher in 2006. The resultant foal sold this year through Inglis Easter Session 2 for $220,000 and the mare's 2yo Baci Amore has further enhanced the mare's pedigree with a Group 1 placing on Monday.

The David Payne trained youngster with be spelled now and will return in the spring to take on other top 2yo's including Blue Sky's She's Meaner in the Sydney Spring Feature races.
